A Boxer and a Boston!!

This week we've had the pleasure of Brooke (Boxer) and Archies's (Boston) company. We've also had the lovely Blake who lives with Brooke and our friend Ella who is a regular boarder here at Windyhill so she knows the drill and is very content here.

There have been some nice dry days so we've had some nice walks around the field and time spent outside in the exercise areas which means tired happy dogs and rosy cheeks for me.

With it being the run up to Christmas I received my first Christmas card from a dog! As you'll see in the pictures below it's form Archie and I also got a lovely big box of chocs so plenty more walks will be required in the new year so I can be as greedy as I like over the festive!

Windy weather at Windyhill!

Welcome to our new website and thanks for taking the time to find us, we have recently taken over Windyhill Kennels and are very excited to be here. This week we have been busy cleaning out all the kennels and getting them ready to get a lick of paint. It's been very stormy with strong winds and lots of rain but the kennels are cosy and warm and we've managed to get our boarders out for walks every day in between showers.

We've started giving the outside of the buildings a freshen up too but that's been weather dependent so progress has been hampered somewhat, still we have plenty of inside jobs to do and spending the afternoon powerwashing is great fun!!

This morning we said bye bye to wee Archie, the twelve week old Boston Terrier, who is just such a wee sweetie pie. Good news is that he should be coming to stay with us again very soon so we're looking forward to having him again. At the moment we have the lovely labradorSkye, she is such a lovely dog and has been enjoying her walks up the field and a wee cuddle when she goes to bed!
